Conveyors are a common and highly efficient way to move large amounts of material across different floors and spaces in a warehouse or factory. Some types are designed to turn or twist while others are designed to move items horizontally. Most conveyors are belts, but there are also specialised systems that use vibratory rollers, skate wheels and even pneumatics to operate. Belt conveyors are the most common, and many manufacturing facilities use both rollers and slats as well.
