Today we present the recent Toshiba Canvio Ready , announced recently by Toshiba and definitely interesting for those in search of physical media capable of storing huge amounts of data and does not trust the cloud, which, however, and perhaps fortunately will achieve a leading position in the world of archiving.
This Toshiba Canvio Ready able to archive, think, up to 3 TB : the models are different, because we start from an external hard drive 500GB (from the price of 61 euro) and then get to the bigger model (whose Price, however, has not yet been revealed). All, fortunately, they can withstand a collision, and are based on USB 3.0 technology, while also being compatible with the 2.
Good, the transfer rate, which comes to 5 Gbit / s interesting dimensions: although not reduced, in fact, are not even extremely high; we talk, for the accuracy, of 119 x 80 x 21.5 mm for models from 2 to 3 TB, and 119 x 80 x 15 mm for models ranging from 500 GB to 1 TB. The release is scheduled in mid-September 2015.
