Asus has just pride with its Asus Memo Pad 7, slim and elegant design that makes it confused with an accessory or a clutch.
I, rough and manly as Conan the Barbarian, which award a tablet that looks like much to some sort of clutch? Yes, because of all the devices that have so far been launched at IFA 2014 this is one of those that seems more pleasant and well studied.
Asus Memo Pad 7 has a look that reminds me a lot of a large smartphone that I have passed through the hands, the Nokia Lumia 1520, only that it seems to have some sort of coverage that seems to invite the user to open it – only that is fake. The Memo Pad 7 is not really a purse or a wallet, is a tablet from budget price but the design surprising and remarkably refined.
With a price that should reach to around € 199, is definitely “easy to buy” with little money who advances to the end of the month, but that impulse buying can only be guessed, since its internal components is effective and suitable for everyday use.
Its display is HD 720p and outclasses many opponents at the same price level, has two speakers for stereo sound (do not expect who knows) and has an Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM, which is not bad at all. As usual, we can choose between 16GB or 32GB, which can be extended with the usual microSD.
Samsung has put a pretty light skin but effective enough that we believe, and that gives its smartphone Zenphone own individual look. The GUI in question is called Zen UI, and it is more than just eyecandy and offers practical functions, as well as a good dose of style.
In conclusion, I have seen quite painful attempts to attract a female audience specifically to a device, usually with horrible pink shells and customizations criticism. The Asus Memo Pad 7 is theoretically “feminine”, but the colors are neutral and the yield of the design makes it quite difficult to feel “girly”. As I said at the beginning, I like it too, and I have no problem buying one of these devices effective.
