Alcatel One Touch Wave, the new smartwatch takes aim at the Moto 360°
They leaked on the net a few new images that portray a close the first smartwatch by Alcatel. The gadget, which will be called Alcatel OneTouch Wave, has a round shape reminiscent of the Motorola Moto 360° and will be compatible with Android and iOS.
The term “smartwatch” is without a doubt one of the most repeated words in the context of consumer technology over the course of the last year thanks to the number of products launched under this epithet if not for the interest that this kind of devices are able to recall.
The ranks of smartwatch already present in the market soon, but not soon, it will add a new one, manufactured by Alcatel. The French producer was present at ‘IFA 2014, bringing the exhibition, among other things, a prototype of that smartwatch that you do not know the name until now.
According to the recent leak the gadget will be called Alcatel OneTouch Wave and the new leaked images will show in detail the physical characteristics. How is it possible to observe the Wave will take the same direction taken by the Motorola Moto 360° – definitely one of the most interesting among those seen so far – choosing a round shape more like that of a real clock to that of a awkward wrist computer.
Alcatel has also chosen the high quality materials for her new accessory, employing a brushed aluminum frame, and those who have managed to hold on to the product is not finished yet they were blown away.
As for the OneTouch Wave functions is based on a 1.2-inch circular display with 240×240 resolution below which you will find a 210mAh battery, able to offer 4 days of autonomy, and Bluetooth module 4.0. The smartwatch has been certified IP67 against dust and water, and the operating system developed by Alcatel itself will make it compatible with both Android and iOS.
